OTHER Anderlecht have mutually agreed to terminate Majeed Ashimeru's contract. The 28-year-old Ghanaian still had a deal with the Purple and White until the end of this season. Ashimeru joined from Salzburg in 2021. Although injuries often hampered him, he still made 129 appearances for Anderlecht.
Last season, he was loaned out to La Louvière. As Ashimeru had not featured in Anderlecht's plans for some time, the contract has now been ended by mutual consent.
