That AA - Ghent president Ivan De Witte isn't in favour of Anderlecht was already known. In connection with the game that will be played between the 2 teams, De Witte makes some statements about Anderlecht.

"Anderlecht are acting medieval", the predident says. "They think they can do whatever they want, like in the 'old-Anderlecht perdiod'. We, AA Ghent, take part for the values of the society," he continuous.

"Vanden Stock made some commotion in our team," the Ghent - president accuses.
"At first he does not want Boussoufa, while in the press he does not stop talking about him. After all this , Anderlecht has become an aim, we will be very passionate during the game. If the team wins, the players will be rewarderd with a very high bonus," De Witte adds.

"I do not notice any form of respect at Anderlecht towards other clubs. Well, we will give them a hard time on the field." Ivan De Witte repeats that he won't let Boussoufa go to Brussels. "There has been interest from 3 foreign clubs. Anderlecht cannot beat them. According to me, it will be the same story as that of Ahmed Hossam. He was very close to Anderlecht, but I let him go to Amsterdam. But I think the chance that Boussoufa will stay at Ghent is 70%," De Witte concludes.

Anderlecht - trainer Vercauteren does not pay much attention to De Witte's statements. "They can say what they want, it does not bother me," he said. "There's a good atmoshpere and there's less pressure and criticisms than last week. With a good preparation, concentration and a bit of luck, it cannot go wrong anymore."
