Vancamp: "First want to succeed in Belgium"

YOUTH - INTERVIEWS Nicolas Frutos praised Jorn Vancamp after his great performance against FC Barcelona. "He is better than me at that age", he stated. However, Vancamp stays with his both feet on the ground and wants to keep working hard.

"I woke up with a great feeling. We qualified and I scored. It is very nice Frutos praised me, but I stay realistic. He proved so much more in his career. If he arrived in the sixteen, you know he would score a goal. However, it is great to work together with him", Vancamp reacted.

Vancamp scored twice at the World Championship U17 and scored six times in the Youth League so far, which are amazing statistics. "I think I am powerful, I have a good technique and good pace. However, I still have to work on my headers, my left foot and when to appear in the penalty area."

Is he dreaming of any play time in the first team of Anderlecht in the near future? "I hope I get the chance to train with them next season", Vancamp says. "My goal is to succeed in Belgium, preferably at Anderlecht. I have to stay realistic and don't have to dream about playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid."
