Selection: Stroeykens to join RSCA Futures tonight

GAMES The RSCA Futures take on Virton at home tonight. Among the 18 players Robin Veldman included in his selection is Mario Stroeykens. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has not yet played for the RSCA Futures this season, but has been playing less for the A-team in recent weeks.


The first weeks of the season, Stroeykens often got to play under Mazzu, but the last month he has played less. Against Charleroi last week he played 17 minutes, but before that it had been since Sept. 11 that he had been in action.

Tonight with Stroeykens showing up in support of Lucas Stassin. The goalscorer was on the bench against West Ham yesterday, but did not appear in action. Tonight Anderlecht is counting on him to lead the RSCA Futures past Virton and hold on to first place.

The RSCA Futures host Virton at 8 p.m. in the King Baudouin Stadium. Season ticket holders get in for free.
