GAMES The RSCA Futures suffered their first defeat of the season yesterday afternoon. The leader in 1B lost 3-2 at Racing Genk. Purple and white did it without their familiar strikers.

No Stassin, Stroeykens or Agyei yesterday at the RSCA Futures. Angulo was also missing. Thus, 17-year-old Luca Monticelli made his debut in the starting lineup. Before that, he had played only 8 minutes for the RSCA Futures spread over two substitutes.

Striker Genk scored twice early in the match. Godts, ex-Anderlecht, opened the score and Nigerian Benianga scored the 2-0 before minute twenty.

After several substitutions, Anderlecht still seemed to get a point. First Leoni on a penalty kick and then Lokesa made it 2-2. Just before time, however, Geusens gave the victory to the home team.

Because of this defeat, Anderlecht now drops to a shared second place. SK Beveren is the new leader with 18 points. Anderlecht follows together with Lierse on two points. Next week Anderlecht will host Dender, last in the ranking.
