INTERVIEWS No more Lucas Stassin in the first team selection the last few games. A conscious choice, according to coach Robin Veldman. The Dutchman will let Stassin train with the first team, but he will play games with the RSCA Futures. "A striker at his age has to grow by playing games," Veldman said.

"In the way we play, I definitely see room for Lucas," Veldman said yesterday at his press conference before the cup match against Lierse. "But he is still so young, 17 years old, and therefore has to play a game every week, I think. He has to be in a situation every week where he has to perform. So not: then once ten minutes, then once a half, then once a whole game."

"A striker at his age has to grow by playing matches. Given the internal competition, we chose to let him train a lot with the A-team, so that he has to train at a high level every day, but that in the matches he is challenged every time in the Challenger Pro League (1B, ed.)."
