Riemer: "A very important victory"

INTERVIEWS Anderlecht coach Brian Riemer expressed satisfaction with the three points after the game against Chareleroi. "The relief in the team was great," he spoke afterwards. Riemer also praised the contribution of the substitutes.


"It was my first league game and it was very important for us to resume with a win," Riemer said. 

According to the Dane, Anderlecht knew it would not be an easy match. "We knew we had to be patient. We handled that excellently. We waited for that chance and luckily it went our way at the end."

That the substitutes made the difference was something Riemer liked to see. "They helped us win the match.".
