Vertonghen: 'the whole team did their defensive work'

INTERVIEWS Jan Vertonghen was voted man of the match in the match against Charleroi. But he does not want to draw attention to himself and points out that the whole team defended well against Charleroi.


"The victory is due to this defensive solidity. It is unfortunate, though, that Anderlecht created too few to no chances. A draw would have been more logical,- considering the course of the match."
 
Although the defender is happy with the three points before the New Year break, because after that there are several big games to win.
