Verbruggen: "I am happy and relieved"

INTERVIEWS As Hendrik Van Crombrugge was ill, Bart Verbruggen took over as goalkeeper at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi. The Dutch goalkeeper succeeded in his mission and achieved a clean sheet. "That I was allowed to start the game? I try to approach it like any other match".


"For me it was a match like any other. I try to approach it like a match at training or at the RSCA Futures."

"I am happy and relieved," Bart Verbruggen gloated after the match. "It's good that we can still score that goal. I'm happy with the win. Our quality is to play the ball, but we often got into a fight and that's their quality. They did a good job."
