Statistics designate Stassin as best striker 1B

OTHER The Pro League has announced the top team of the regular league in 1B. Including one player from Anderlecht: Lucas Stassin. To arrive at the team, the Pro League based itself on several statistics.

The top team was composed on the basis of the Opta scores. These rate players' performance based on six subcategories: shots, passing, possession, defense, attacking and goalkeeping. How heavily each category weighs in the player rating depends on his position during the match. 

The team features Lucas Stassin as a deep striker. "The 18-year-old striker from RSCA Futures leads the top shooter standings with 14 goals and also shows himself to be particularly goal-oriented. No player realized more shots on goal (36). More than 1 in 5 attempts (21.5%) resulted in a goal. No one is doing better," it reads.
