OTHER The Anderlecht indoor soccer team won the Belgian Cup tonight. In the final, it defeated Herentals 3-10. Although the victory came mainly after halftime.
That Anderlecht won against Herentals should not be surprising. The team from Kempen plays with all amateurs, while Anderlecht can count on renowned foreign professional players. Still, Herentals led 2-1 after a quarter of a game. Even before halftime, Anderlecht was able to turn the situation around to 2-3. After the break, they then took a good distance.
The Cup is the first prize of the season for RSCA Futsal. The club is also on course to win the national title. The big goal, however, is the Champions League. On Friday, May 5, it plays in it against Sporting Lisbon in the semifinals.
