OTHER Three players on trial were on the match sheet for Saturday's match against KSV Oudenaarde. Two of them were allowed to take the field, while the third remained on the bench.

Pape Youssou Niangstarted the game. He is a midfielder who can play in central or defensive positions. The 20-year-old Senegalese player, who stands at 1.93m, spent part of his formative years at Galatasaray in Turkey before moving to FC Al-Ain, where he still plays.

Manu Salazaku was also on the match sheet, but did not take to the field. The 18-year-old arrived at RSCA in 2020 from Mechelen, having previously played for FC Brugge. He left RSCA in 2022 because he had not received a contract and had found refuge in Italy in Pisa. A left-back by training, he played 16 matches last season with Pisa, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His contractual situation with Pisa is not yet known.
