Tudor Mendel prefers Anderlecht

TRANSFERS According to Sacha Tavolieri, another transfer could soon be in order. According to him, Tudor Mendel Idowu would have informed Anderlecht that he agrees to a transfer. Barcelona B had all but snatched the player, but the dribbling flanker could join Anderlecht's A core right away. According to Spanish sources, he even underwent his medical tests already.


According to Tavolieri, Mendel would train with the first team but would also remain available for the RSCA Futures. The 18-year-old Englishman could sign a four-year contract with Purple White. He would be considered primarily as a backup to Dreyer and a switch for the (near) future. He was a free agent after not having renewed his contract at Chelsea.
