Goalkeeper Rutgeerts signs first professional contract

YOUTH Anderlecht has had goalkeeper Nicholas Rutgeerts sign his first professional contract. The 18-year-old goalkeeper, who has been playing for Purple & White since the U8, is now fixed until 2025. This season he will be part of the core of the RSCA Futures.


"Despite his height of 1.97 meters, he has needed some time to develop. Playing minutes at professional level will help Nicholas to take the next steps," said Jean Kindermans, the head of the youth academy.
