Verschaeren with Futures tonight against Zulte Waregem

INJURIES Yari Verschaeren will play his first official game tomorrow since dropping out in March with a serious knee injury. Het Laatste Nieuws reports. The midfielder will be in action with the RSCA Futures against Zulte Waregem. 


Just over a week ago, Verschaeren played 45 minutes in a friendly game against Zulte Waregem. That went well and apparently he had no reaction afterwards. Tonight, he will make his official reappearance. As a full A-team player, Verschaeren will play twice with the Futures to get some rhythm. If all goes well tonight, he will also play next week against Beveren.

His return to the first team may then follow in the cup game against Standard on Thursday, December 7.
