GAMES The RSCA Futures scored a very handsome victory tonight. It defeated leader Zulte Waregem 2-5. Nilson Angulo (pictured) scored twice. Tristan Degreef accounted for a goal and two assists. Yari Verschaeren played an hour.

After almost half an hour of play, Anderlecht took the lead. Verschaeren played the ball to Angulo, who shot very cleverly into the far corner. The purple and white could not enjoy the lead for long: barely two minutes later, Vossen equalized. After a blunder by goalkeeper Bostyn, Lissens brought Anderlecht into the lead a second time, but again it was not for long. 2-2 midway through.

Third time right? Yep! Monticelli brought purple and white into the lead a third time in the 54th minute. Now the Futures did manage to hold on to the bonus. Indeed, in the closing stages, Degreef and Angulo even made sure of a spacious 2-5 final score.

With this victory, the Futures now count 19 points. That puts them seventh, but the leader counts barely four more points. All in a heap there at the front of the standings.
