Veldman to work at Club NXT

OTHER Club Brugge has appointed former Anderlecht coach Robin Veldman (38) to replace Nicky Hayen, who is leaving Club NXT to succeed the sacked Ronny Deila. Notable fact is that Veldman's assignment currently consists of only four games as the youth teams of clubs from 1A are not participating in the playoffs.


Veldman was coach of the RSCA Futures for a year and a half and did very well there. He replaced Mazzu after his dismissal and was briefly assistant to Brian Riemer. Then the Dutchman opted for a job at Queen's Park in the Scottish second division, but that did not become a success. Veldman had been without a club since December.
