Probably no more Schmeichel, but all on Casteels

TRANSFERS According to Het Nieuwsblad, Anderlecht will not continue with Kasper Schmeichel after this season. Purple-White is setting its sights fully on Koen Casteels. Purple-White hopes to snare the Red Devil as first goalkeeper for next season, according to the newspaper.


The chances of Anderlecht lighting the option in Schmeichel's contract are very slim. The club hopes to convince Casteels with a project in Belgium and thus trump Celtic, who can offer Champions League.
