TRANSFERS What was already announced a few days ago is now official: Robbie Ure has signed a new three-year contract with Anderlecht. The 20-year-old Scottish striker is now fixed until 2027. "From day one he made a great impression at the Futures," stated Mikkel Hemmersam, director of the academ
Ure came over from Glasgow Rangers at the beginning of September last year and then signed a deal until the end of the season. With the Futures, he scored five goals in 16 league games and provided two assists. On the last game day of the playoffs, he celebrated his debut for the first team during a brief substitution at Antwerp.
"Robbie's arrival so far has been a great story," academy director Mikkel Hemmesam said. "From day one he made a great impression at the RSCA Futures. He is a typical number 9. He can keep the ball, score goals and is excellent at building the game. Robbie has a strong personality and is a guy who knows what he wants. We are convinced that a bright future awaits him."
Ure has been training with the first team since the beginning of preparation. In three practice matches, he scored twice. He is currently with the A core on an internship in Portugal.
