Official: Delaney back to Copenhagen

TRANSFERS Anderlecht have once again received assurances regarding the possible return of a player. Thomas Delaney has signed with FC Copenhagen and will therefore not return to Anderlecht.


Delaney was rented from Sevilla and despite being regularly injured, Anderlecht seemed keen to acquire the Danish midfielder. According to rumours, Delaney's wages were a stumbling block during negotiations. Anderlecht are now looking for a midfielder with a more attacking profile.
