Vroninks signs first pro contract

YOUTH Basile Vroninks has signed a first professional contract with Anderlecht. The 17-year-old right-back put his signature on a deal until the summer of 2027.


Vroninks has been playing football for purple and white since he was five years old. Last season he played for the U18, this season he would play for the Futures. Those saw the departure of a right-back with Mohamed Bouchouari last weekend.

Academy director Mikkel Hemmersam briefly introduced Vroninks on the club website: ‘Basile is a dynamic right-back who is attacking-minded. He combines good technique with defensive dedication and physical qualities. Next season he will develop further with the RSCA Futures, and get a taste of the Challenger Pro League for the first time.'
