1B - 1B Anderlecht are on the verge of recruiting Joren Dom as reinforcement for RSCA Futures. So reports Gazet van Antwerpen. The 34-year-old Dom, who can play as a defender and as a midfielder, will take his medical tests today.

Dom has a lot of experience. He comes from the youth of KV Mechelen and subsequently played for Rupel Boom (2009 - 2011), FC Dender (2011 - 2012), Antwerp (2012 - 2017), Beerschot (2017 - 2022) and OH Leuven (2022 - 2024). Since this summer, he has been without a club.

On his CV are 126 matches in the highest division and 251 duels in 1B. Last season, he still played 31 matches for OH Leuven.

The U23 teams in 1B are allowed to have one older player, provided he did not play for the first team that season. Dom also enjoyed interest from Almere, the straggler in the Dutch highest division, but thus opts for the Futures project.
