Futures see rival run out after forfait Deinze

1B - 1B SK Deinze has financial problems and is unlikely to be able to play against Francs Borains on Saturday. The club has no funds to organize the home match, and employees have been waiting for months for payment. On Friday, the club will probably decide to request a forfait defeat. In addition, Deinze risks another three-point deduction. Without a capital injection, the club risks bankruptcy. For RSCA Futures, this is good and bad news at the same time.


Francs Borain is in shared last place with RSCA Futures. A direct competitor now gets three points as a gift and so purple and white sees the gap widen. Indeed, the last two in the standings are relegated. 

On the other hand, a bankruptcy of Deinze could result in only one relegation. That would be good news, but we are not that far yet.
