INTERVIEWS The RSCA Futures play an important game tonight against their peers from Racing Genk. “Not losing is the message,” said coach Jelle Coen. “And if we win, we'll put them on six points.”
Jong Genk is currently last in 1B with 12 points. The Futures count three more. However, Genk started well with 6 out of 6, but then followed a run of 6 out of 45. That cost coach Thomas Buffel his job this weekend. With Johan Van Rumst, Jong Genk already found a new coach.

They started the season with very negative results, but in the past two matches they achieved a nice draw each time against a top club in the series. “We are in a good flow and the spirit is also very good after the latest results,” said coach Jelle Coen in Het Laatste Nieuws.
Saturday's equalizer did not fall until injury time. “Based on the chances more than deserved,” Coen said. The Futures not only had the most ball possession, they also created a lot of chances. “The equalizer provided great relief, but mostly justice. Our first half was very strong.”
