TRANSFERS Anderlecht has said goodbye to Amando Lapage at the last minute of the transfer deadline. The 20-year-old defender is moving to Westerlo where he has signed until 2029. The grandson of Paul Van Himst made his debut in Anderlecht's A-team this season, but chose to leave the club anyway.
Lapage played thirteen years for Anderlecht and could have played another important role with the RSCA Futures this season. Lapage was regularly in the first team selection this season and made four appearances, twice in the league and twice in the Croky Cup.
Lapage could also sign a new contract with Anderlecht for the same length of time, but his chances of playing with the A-team seemed to have become slim anyway this season with the arrival of Hey and Adryelson.
