OTHER RSC Anderlecht implemented a capital increase of 12 million euros a while ago, most of which has not yet been used. Thanks to the club's regained financial stability, this reserve remains largely untouched. The expected use of these funds is expected to be less than an additional three million euros, with the rest remaining in the club's coffers. Legally, not everything can be used just like that either.
Moreover, the club has earned nearly ten million euros in the Europa League this season, and the stands are sold out at every game (which was not yet included in the figures).
Shareholders are satisfied with RSC Anderlecht's financial health and appreciate sporting director Olivier Renard's long-term vision. He has promised to avoid future urgent contract extensions, as is currently the case with players such as Theo Leoni, Yari Verschaeren and Mario Stroeykens, which typically entails additional costs of 30 to 40 percent.
Looking ahead to the summer mercato, moves have already been made with the arrival of Cesar Huerta and the transfer of Cédric Hatenboer. These purchases led to a slight overrun of the budget allocated to Renard for the winter mercato. In addition, the RSCA Futures have been strengthened, which is crucial for retention in the Challenger Pro League and the development of young talents. Olivier Renard will not be able to be fully assessed until after the 2025-2026 season. Cup win would already boost his reputation
