17-year-old Abdellaoui signs pro contract

YOUTH Anderlecht has had Mohamed Abdellaoui sign his first professional contract. The attacking midfielder is a regular at U18 and has committed to purple-white until 2027, with an option for an additional year.


Abdellaoui is from Sint-Joost-ten-Node and has been playing for Anderlecht since 2014. "Mohamed is known at Neerpede as an inquisitive, respectful boy who creates a pleasant atmosphere within a group," it reads. "Off the pitch he is playful and good-humored, on the pitch the attacking midfielder does not shy away from the hard work."
