Castillo comes to do internship

YOUTH The Ecuadorian press reports that 16-year-old Ederson Castillo will do an internship with Anderlecht. The young player, who plays as a defensive midfielder at LDU Quito, is part of his club's U20 selection. Earlier, Anderlecht also took Nilson Angulo away from LDU Quito. Castillo played five matches this season and collected two caps for the Ecuadorian U17 selection. He is considered a major talent in his home country.


However, the player cannot yet be transferred as he is not yet 18. The internship in Belgium is considered an alternative, offering Castillo the chance to further develop his skills and gain experience in a European competition.
