Interested in Chotard?

TRANSFERS According to French media, RSC Anderlecht is interested in Joris Chotard, a 23-year-old defensive midfielder currently under contract with Montpellier. Chotard, who trained at Montpellier, has indicated that he does not want to play in Ligue 2 with his club. Last season, he played 27 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal. He also plays for the French U23 team.


Chotard's contract runs until June 2026 and his market value is estimated at six million euros.

During the recent summer transfer window, Chotard was close to a transfer to Wolfsburg, but the deal fell through because Montpellier demanded a higher fee. The club is now reportedly willing to let Chotard leave for three million euros.

Besides Anderlecht, Auxerre and Nantes have also shown interest in the midfielder. Chotard has also rejected two offers from Greece.
