RSCA targets Japanese striker

TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht has set its sights on Kento Shiogai, a 20-year-old Japanese striker currently under contract with NEC Nijmegen. Shiogai, who graduated from Keio University, transferred to the Netherlands in 2024. Last season, the young attacker made 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing one assist. This season, he has already scored two goals in three matches (72 minutes of playing time).


He is also part of the Japanese U23 squad, where he plays alongside Keisuke Goto. Shiogai's contract with NEC runs until June 2028, and his market value is estimated at €850,000. The arrival of the Japanese attacker should increase competition for Luis Vazquez in Anderlecht's attack.
