INTERVIEWS Anderlecht coach Besnik Hasi wasn't sparing any criticism after the 1-1 draw against OH Leuven. The Purple & White couldn't follow up their strong performance against AA Gent.
"It was too much for the match after three matches in six days," Hasi analyzed. "We didn't bring the same intensity, and our midfield was nonexistent in the first half. Our 17-year-old, Nathan De Cat, was our best man. That says enough."
After the break, Anderlecht came into the game better and scored at the right moment, but they quickly lost control. "To hold on to a result, you have to play higher and defend better. We didn't do that. It simply wasn't enough."
