U20 World Cup: Maamar and Tajaouart now face South Korea

YOUTH Ali Maamar (photo) and Anas Tajaouart know their opponents in the round of 16 of the U20 World Cup in Chile. At 1 a.m. Belgian time on Friday morning, Morocco will take on South Korea.


In the group stage, South Korea earned 4 out of 9 points. They lost 1-2 to Ukraine, drew 0-0 with Paraguay, and won 1-2 against Panama. They qualified for the round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams.

If they beat South Korea, they will face the winner of the match between Italy and the United States in the quarterfinals.
