Bertaccini: "Disappointed, but I need to get back into my rhythm"

INTERVIEWS Adriano Bertaccini was disappointed with his performance against STVV, his former club. "The 2-2 draw left a bitter taste," he said. "I played too hastily and need to stay calmer," he said. Bertaccini has just returned from an injury and says he needs playing time to get back to his level.


Bertaccini emphasizes that he is 100% medically fit: "Otherwise, the coach wouldn't have brought me in," he said. So now it's important to get back into his rhythm as quickly as possible.

Bertaccini is also trying to figure out his role in the team: "I prefer to play as a false nine," he explained. He probably saw himself playing alongside Dolberg. Bertaccini is understandably disappointed with his departure. "He was an important player," he added. "His departure does force others to raise their game," he concluded.
