Llansana back in training, Hazard and De Cat start against Mechelen

INJURIES Anderlecht coach Besnik Hasi is preparing for a tense match against his former club KV Mechelen. On Saturday evening, the Purple & White hosts them at Lotto Park, where only a win will count to restore order in the ranks.


Good news for Hasi: Nathan De Cat and Thorgan Hazard return to the starting lineup. The duo were rested last week against KVK Ninove, but are now back in the starting lineup. Goalkeeper Colin Coosemans also returns to his familiar position under the bar.

Adriano Bertaccini, who was forced off after an hour in the cup match with a painful ankle, appears to have recovered well from the injury. The substitution appeared to be primarily a precaution.

Anderlecht may also be able to count on Enric Llansana again. The midfielder resumed group training this week and, if he doesn't experience any side effects, he will return to the squad on Saturday.

With Mechelen's arrival, there's a lot at stake for Hasi and his team—another misstep is out of the question.
