Maamar: "It was an excellent experience"

INTERVIEWS In an interview, Ali Maamar described his participation in the U20 World Cup as an “incredible experience.” “I wanted to make a positive contribution to the team, and I managed to do that,” he said. After being suspended for the semi-final, he felt in top form for the final against Argentina.

“But it was a collective victory, with the support of the fans pushing us to our limits,” he continued.

Maamar is determined to continue his career with the Moroccan national team and keep progressing. In addition, he feels ready to be part of RSC Anderlecht's first team, despite the strong competition from Ilay Camara and Killian Sardella. “Such competition is a source of motivation, but I'm determined to seize my chances whenever the coach gives me the opportunity,” he said confidently.
