
TRANSFERS With the winter transfer window approaching, all kinds of names are circulating in the media as possible reinforcements. Given that the Purple & White do indeed intend to strengthen their squad, this is not illogical. However, there is currently little reliable or concrete news about potential transfer targets, so we will limit ourselves to a sporadic overview of the rumors. Today we highlight Julien Duranville and Noah Edjouma.
Certain (rather sensationalist) websites reported this week on the possible return of Julien Duranville. The winger left Anderlecht for Dortmund at a young age, but was never able to break through there. Various injuries have slowed his development considerably. But the player has worked hard in the meantime: his body has gained more muscle mass, which can prevent injuries. He is now training hard again and is getting back into shape, albeit not with the German club's first team. This news was quickly seized upon to claim that Anderlecht wanted to sign Duranville on loan to give him more playing time at a high level and strengthen the purple and white flank. Yesterday, however, transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri immediately quashed that rumor. Tavolieri knows that the purple and white have at no point been involved in the return of the talented player, nor do they have any intention of doing so. The club is pursuing other avenues.
