Tajaouart: "I want to join the first team"

Instead, his confidence grew as the tournament progressed. "But the realization that we had truly become world champions only came later," he said, describing his feelings. Like Maamar, Tajaouart wants to progress quickly in the Moroccan team. At Anderlecht, his ambition is to permanently join the first team. "I want to earn the trust of coach Besnik Hasi," he said.

His development is often compared to that of Théo Leoni, but Tajaouart is determined to break through faster than his predecessor.
