There was little time for buying presents, but there was time for a sporting end to the year. The Purple & White want to end 2025 with a victory so they can look forward to 2026 with confidence.
Against Charleroi, Mihajlo Cvetkovic seems to have a good chance of a place in the starting eleven. The midfielder is earning praise from his coach. “He is radiating energy again and playing with great intensity, his drive is completely back,” says Hasi, who is pleased with his player's progress.
“Everything has accelerated for him and in recent games we noticed that his freshness had faded somewhat. For a young player, it is wiser to take a step back. In the meantime, he is feeling better again. As for Friday, we will have to wait and see, but there is a real chance that he will be back in the starting line-up.”
