YOUTH Guillaume Gillet could be set for a return to RSC Anderlecht. The former midfielder may soon take on the role of coach of the U16s, which would see him resume a position within the club where he was a fixture for many years. Gillet is currently mainly active as a TV analyst, but he is also gaining coaching experience as part of Sven Vermant's staff with Belgium's U17s. That mix of media work and youth coaching would now appear to have prepared him for a new challenge at Neerpede.
Anderlecht continues to place trust in former club figures within its youth setup. With Gillet, the purple-and-white would once again bring in someone with a strong club DNA to help guide young talents in their development.
