YOUTH Anderlecht has signed Loïc Ngassa to his first professional contract. The 15-year-old Ngassa can play both in midfield and in attack. “Loïc is someone who matured physically later than most, but he has always more than made up for that with exceptional technique,” says head of youth development Tim Borguet.
“Loïc is a versatile player who can play as an 8 or a 10, but is also capable of playing as a left or right winger,” says Borguet. “Loïc is two-footed and creative in tight spaces.”
Ngassa is from Charleroi and has been playing for Anderlecht since he was 9. “He perfectly embodies the club's DNA,” Borguet adds. “With his exemplary mentality and enormous potential, Loïc has all the qualities to succeed with the Purple & White in the long term.”
