INJURIES According to Bild, Anderlecht and Schalke 04 are close to reaching an agreement over the future of Moussa Ndiaye. RSCA had asked for around €4 million for a permanent transfer, but Schalke do not have the financial means this summer to put that amount on the table. To address that situation, both clubs are working on an alternative: a new loan spell for Ndiaye at Schalke 04, this time with a mandatory purchase option that would be activated in the summer of 2027. That structure would allow Schalke to spread the expense over several budget years, while Anderlecht would be guaranteed a substantial return in the medium term.
In that way, the club could receive several million euros in 2027 without selling the player below his value. Ndiaye experienced a revival in Germany. Since arriving in Gelsenkirchen in January, he quickly grew into a key figure in the club's push toward the Bundesliga. His dynamic profile, work rate and progress convinced Schalke to continue with him, despite their limited financial firepower. The deal therefore appears to be moving towards a swift conclusion. Talks are progressing positively and an agreement now seems close.
