TRANSFERS According to the Czech media outlet inFotbal, Anderlecht is closely monitoring the situation surrounding Adam Karabec. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is preparing to return to Sparta Prague following his loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais. The player, looking for more playing time, would be open to a transfer to Belgium. Karabec, who can play both as an attacking midfielder and a right winger, had an inconsistent season in Lyon: he played 34 matches and recorded 3 goals and 3 assists.
The player's market value is estimated at around 7 million euros, a sum that is high for RSCA. Sparta Prague, which will get its player back this summer, will not simply facilitate his departure: the Czech club values Karabec and would like to include him in the coach's plans. A late departure is therefore out of the question. If the Purple & Whites want to make a move, they must do so in a timely manner to give Sparta the chance to find a replacement. They will also have to take Sparta's financial demands into account.
