GAMES A small delegation has travelled with Anderlecht to Kazakhstan for the European match against Kairat Almaty. Only two journalists made the trip: Jürgen Geril from Het Nieuwsblad and Yves Taildeman from La Dernière Heure.
DPG Media, the company behind publications including Het Laatste Nieuws and VTM, did not send a journalist along. Yet VTM2 will be broadcasting the match live shortly.
The trip to Almaty is certainly not the easiest. But eighteen brave supporters have made the journey nonetheless and will be cheering on the Purple and Whites shortly.
Owner Marc Coucke and chairman Michael Verschueren have not travelled to Kazakhstan either. Sporting director Antoine Sibierski did make the trip, however. CEO Kenneth Bornauw is due to arrive later today and will also attend the match.
