TRANSFERS Anderlecht are considering signing Olivier Deman from Werder Bremen as a replacement for Moussa Ndiaye. This is according to reports in Het Nieuwsblad and La Dernière Heure. However, confirmation of Ndiaye's loan move to Werder is still pending.

The 26-year-old Deman came through the youth ranks at Cercle Brugge, where he also made his breakthrough. Three years ago, he moved to Werder Bremen for 4 million euros. In the spring of 2025, he was loaned out to Antwerp for half a year.

Last season he missed the first few months due to injury, but since early January Deman has been a regular in the starting line-up for Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. He also played the full 90 minutes in both of Werder's official matches so far this season – one in the cup and one in the league.

Deman still has a contract with Werder until 2028. His market value is estimated at 3.5 million euros.
