Bogdan Mykhailinchenko played the whole game of Shakhtar Donetsk against Vorskla, his team won in the last minutes of the game with 3-2. They are second in their championship with five points behind Dnipro. Read more »

After a 3-2 win against MNK Futsal Pula from Croatia, tonight it held European champion FC Barcelona to a 5-5 draw. With Mario Stroeykens, Noah Sadiki and Alonzo Engwanda, three Anderlecht players came into action with the Belgian U20. In the friendly game against Norway, which the Belgians won 2-1, Stroeykens even scored the first goal. Read more »

In a friendly game against of Japan, Fabio Silva was injured in the very first minute. Silva went deep and collided with the Japanese goalkeeper. The severity of the injury is not yet known, but Silva was still able to leave the field on his own power. Read more »

Amir Murillo scored the only goal for Panama yesterday afternoon in the friendly game against World Cup contender Cameroon. According to the Professional Refereeing Department, Racing Genk's Gerardo Arteaga was unfairly shown a red card in Sunday's match against Anderlecht. Anderlecht deservedly lost with 0-2 against a strong Genk. Anderlecht could never really make a fist against the leader who not only set the tempo, but also chose his moments well. Anderlecht could again hardly create any real chances and it was behind the times the whole match. The World Cup put Purple and White out of its misery for a while, but without a famous sporting reinforcement, we shouldn't expect too much from this core even after the World Cup, no matter who would be coach.
