INTERVIEWS Matias Suarez went through a tough period but 2015 ended in a great way for him. He recovered from his injury and his son Valentino was born. His wife Magali looked back on this period and is very grateful to Hasi.

"We really wanted to try everything to get rid of Matias' knee injury so we went to doctor Ramon Cugat in Barcelona. That was really a tough period", Magali says. "My daughter and I always tried to join him because it often happen he even couldn't walk after an injection."

"Every day Matias got better, but we never had a target date. That made Matias nervous and he tried very hard to get back to the pitch as fast as possible. He also lost seven kilograms to put less pressure on his joints."

His goal against OHL was really a relief. "He was so delighted when he scored", Magali witnesses. "When I got home, I cried. Finally, his legs did again what he wanted in his head."

Matias' wife wants to thank coach Besnik Hasi. "We are really grateful to him. He was so patient. Any other coach would have given up on Matias. We will never forget this. We are not thinking about a transfer again because Matias wants to reward Anderlecht with many goals and a championship title."
