TRANSFERS Anderlecht found their new left defender in Russia. The Dutchman Alexander Büttner is joining Anderlecht on loan trial for six months. An option to purchase the player was not included in the agreement.

Büttner started his career at Ajax Amsterdam but showed his talent at Vitesse, where he scored ten times out of 106 matches. Manchester United signed the player but he could never compete with Fabrice Evra on the left wing.

After two seasons, he moved to Dinamo Moskow. At that time, Anderlecht were also interested to land the player. However, Büttner was too expensive. Anderlecht were kicked out of the Europe League by Büttner's Dinamo Moskow.

Alexander Büttner's last appearance at Dinamo dates back from August 2015. Dinamo Moscow are not playing a good season and are ranked 11th in the Russian league. Anderlecht will take him over for the rest of the season. As they believe in Obradovic' talent, they have no intention to purchase the player.
