Europa League: Anderlecht vs. APOEL

GAMES Anderlecht will have to face APOEL Nicosia in the 1/8 final of the Europa League. The matches will be played on March 9 and 16. Remarkable is the clash between two other Belgian clubs: AA Ghent and Racing Genk.

Belgium still had three teams in the running in the Europa League, more than any other country. This meant there was a large possibility two Belgian teams would face each other. It didn't happen for Anderlecht though, that will have to travel to Cyprus to face APOEL. But Racing Genk and AA Ghent were matched together though. This means at least one Belgian club will make it to the quarter final of the Europa League.
