OTHER Herman Van Holsbeeck has left at RSC Anderlecht, but that does not mean that the chapter has been completely closed. He refuses to sign the letter of dismissal he received from Marc Coucke. "I'm consulting my lawyers" is the short reaction of the ex-general manager.

In the event of a dismissal Van Holsbeeck is entitled to a 24-month wage, about one million euros. Coucke would rather not pay that amount, and so he presented Van Holsbeeck with an amicable settlement, but he refused it.

So it seems to be a procedure battle between both parties. Coucke would now have all Van Holsbeeck's decisions examined in order to be able to catch him on heavy mistakes and to be able to fire him free of charge. Van Holsbeeck, for his part, demands his severance pay that has been contractually stipulated.
