INJURIES Kara Mbodj sees light at the end of the tunnel. The Senegalese has announced that he wants to play again in three weeks. "I now do three individual training sessions a day, and if everything goes well, I can continue the field training this week and I can play games in three weeks."
If this succeeds, Kara will be ready for the World Cup in time. "At the moment the most important thing is my health, I think of myself and Anderlecht, then we'll see about the World Championship", he says. Although Kara admits to have regular contact with the national coach about his condition.
In the meantime, the defender follows the games of Anderlecht full of excitement. "I'm more nervous than when I'm on the pitch," he laughs.
